Melynda Florestant helped one of my least favorite shopping ventures be one of the best. She was professional, knowledgeable and very patient. She was more concerned with seeing me satisfied than just getting a car off the lot. The communication & teamwork she has with coworkers was also very comforting, made me feel I was in good hands. After receiving a call from one of their sale members a few months back, I started thinking and looking into maybe trading my 2014 Tahoe LT 4WD with the Sun, Entertainment & Destination Package that I purchased from Bennett Chevrolet in Dec. 2013. It looked like I just took it off the lot and it only had under 12,000 miles with 2 more years finance left on it. I was very unsure about trading it. I’m a big, 6’ tall man and the only thing I didn’t like about my old Tahoe was it was’t nearly as comfortable as my 1994 Chevy C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab Step-side Bed with Luxury Conversion after factory that I also purchased at Bennett in 1994. Put 90,000 miles on that and it still looked near new almost 19 years later. Hurricane Sandy got that truck or I’d might still have it. With the seat back in the 2014 to have leg comfort, my arm were almost extended strait out. Moving the seat forward to make my arms comfortable, my legs were uncomfortable. I called and spoke with sales member, Melynda Florestant, on Nov. 21st. I made an appointment to go in and talk with her the next day. She looked my 2014 Tahoe over and we discussed my options. I told her I wanted the same features as that I have in the LT. We took a 2017 Tahoe 4WD Premier out for a test drive, which is a step up. It drove just like the 2014 but it was so much more comfortable. But not quite like my old ’94 but very nice driving. The first thing noticed was the the seat sits a little bit lower and the steering wheel not only tilts but telescopes in and out. Plenty of leg room and my elbow are on the door and center console armrest. Melynda was very knowledgeable about the features the MyLink system. A lot more bells and whistles then the 2014. I was really impressed with all the new entreatment and safety features. We got back to the dealership and I noticed the sticker price. I was thinking there’s no way I will be able to afford this. I figured I’d come back if they could find an LT with the package I had in the 2014 I may be able to afford that. I sat down with Melynda and she starter getting all the numbers together. I then talk with her sales manager Mark Hendricks, whom I previously dealt with in 2013, and they along with other sales members, gave me the bottom line. After paying off the 2014 Tahoe with the trade, that I had 2 more years finance left on, I would be paying just a little bit more a month for 5 years. So another 3 years payment and a brand new Tahoe, that’s also a step up from the LT model, I’m really happy. I then sat down with Business Manager Greg Soden. He got all the paperwork in order and I was out of there in a new Tahoe. There was only two thing that I’m disappointed with, the rearview mirror in the 2014 had a button that you can turn off the Automatic Dimming feature that they did away with and my ’89 Silverado had two lights under the hood. One on the underside of the hood that would light when open and another on the inside right fender that would real out on a 6’ cord with a magnetic base that you could attach anywhere. I don’t know why they would do away with them. This is the fifth vehicle I’ve purchased from Bennett Chevrolet since 1985. A ’85 Camaro, ’89 Silverado, ’94 Silverado Custom Extended Cab, ’14 Tahoe LT and this. And I can’t forget the Parts and Service Department. They all alway do a great job.

I pass by this dealership very frequently but never considered a Chevy. Once I began having children I looked into the Traverse, unfortunately it was not financially feasible. I have had Toyota cars and SUV's, a Lincoln SUV (MKX), a Kia Sorento and my family has had many Ford SUV's also. I had gotten information from my recent dealership on my current lease and what was owed on the vehicle. I had no intention to go to a Chevy, but I drove by and thought, "Let me just see what they have". I walked in and was greeted immediately and taken to Marc. I knew what i wanted and what I owed. I am straight forward so it was easy to explain to Marc. He was receptive and realistic. He was understanding and respectful that I was unable to buy right then and there. I was in the dealership for roughly an hour, running numbers and checking out a new SUV, the Traverse. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and thorough about the vehicle. I decided to go for a drive and I was immediately pleased with the vehicle through and through. We finished numbers and agreed that it in fact would work out this time! I came back the next morning and we made the purchase. Marc recommended I begin the process online for finances and such after I left that day. It made that next morning very smooth. I walked in with my Father, who is talkative to say the least. Anyone who we interacted with was more than pleasant and just as talkative. Marc and my Father both have military backgrounds and they had plenty to chat about. In addition, Marc introduced me to the service department and who I would contact in the future. This was a nice touch, and helpful also. We also worked with Greg, in finance. He was very thorough and helpful. He was great at explaining additional options and his honest opinion and benefits of each. The signing process was extremely smooth. A couple times different team members, including Marc and Greg, would stop by to make sure we were okay, and ask if we wanted coffee/water. After things were finalized Marc assisted me to syncing my phone, Wifi, and OnStar. He went above and beyond for me. The Bennett group is awesome and I can strongly say I will return again!

My husband and I had a hard year about 3 years ago and our credit took an awful hit and we are currently rebuilding. Two kiddos and 2 massive dogs later we needed a bigger vehicle. After an awful experience at another dealership my husband went to Bennett. They truly went through everything with us to make sure they could help us. Alex went above and beyond and was even amazing with our two kids who were not very easy to deal with!! Highly highly recommend Bennett and Alex for anyone searching for a new vehicle.
